Garmouth Solstice Walk

Met at Garmouth hotel and headed off towards Spey Bay over the iron bridge then sharp left along a path through the coastal forest. Historical narrative of the bridge history given by Bill Baird, and also plants and particularly bird calls and habits identified by Ian Suttie. It was remarked he must have a special hearing aid issued by RSPB. A debrief was enjoyed at the Garmouth Hotel after the walk. The weather gave a little warning of rain that quickly passed by, the warning was fulfilled on our drive home when it chucked it doon. Lucky us.
